I severely messed up my roots at home and found an ad for Newport Hair Salon on Craigslist. I called and they got me in right away, within hours. I was helped my Itzel, who was very friendly and really understanding. My hair turned out fantastic, she totally fixed my mess up. The owner saw that I was under the weather and made sure I was comfortable and made me some tea!!! The place is beautiful and so comfortable. I have a nail appt there over the weekend and I cannot wait!

I have been getting my hair cut by Itzel for 3 years now. I started going to her when she worked at a different salon and followed her over to Newport Hair Design. She always does an awesome job on my hair.
She took some time off recently and I went to a couple differnt places and nobody did a good job on my hair. I am so glad she is back! I live near Long Beach so the salon is a bit far for me but it is so worth the drive!

Frank is the owner and he is the one with the platinum sheers. Very creative, we have had fun over 15 years doing all kinds of looks for me. He is very kind and patient. His salon is cozy and warm and no hairdresser attitude, which I can't bare.

Frank even gave my high functioning Autistic Son a haircut. I could not believe how well he worked with my Son.
Kitty does a fantastic job on nails. I was going to opening day for Angel's baseball and she hand painted an A on my nails.
